Friends and Neighbors:
First, let me wish all of you and your family a Happy Thanksgiving. I hope you are able to spend this Thanksgiving weekend with delicious food and surrounded by loved ones.
I have lots to be thankful for. In particular, I am thankful for having been able to call Arlington Heights home for me and my family for the past 27 years. I am also grateful for having met so many of you, be it through scouting, church or other volunteer and community activities.
Arlington Heights is a precious community, and above all, I want it to stay that way. I want all our children and their children to enjoy what has made this village so special to us.
To that end, I am excited to announce my campaign for Village Trustee here in Arlington Heights.
The election is on April 1. That means that there is still a bit of time to go, but I also know that time flies. There are 4 seats up for election, and there will be 8 candidates. It’s a crowded field! The lottery for ballot position was held earlier this week, and my name will show up in 2nd position.
I am asking you to help me get the word out about my campaign. Please check out my website, www.BauerForAH.com, and please share information about my campaign with your friends and family. Also, I’d love for you to get involved. I will need lots of help getting the word out, to distribute flyers, to set up yard signs, and to arrange meetings for me to meet with people.
I intend to send periodic e-mails such as this one on topics of interest to the community. Let me know if you have any questions or suggestions.
Thanks, and see you soon!
